12 DRAWER STORAGE

This 12 drawer storage piece was made for a small boutique store here in Phoenix, but could be used in your workspace, shop, or even bedroom! Since I recently started making youtube videos, I thought it would be a good project to film the process. Have a look!

This 12 drawer storage was built in about three days. To keep the whole thing relatively light, I challenged myself to make the frame out of one sheet of 3/4" birch ply. The drawers are made from 1/2" birch. The top is 14 gauge sheet metal. Let me know if you have any questions!

I have worn Vans for at least 17 years. For some reason I was drawn to them as a kid, and ever since have been pretty loyal. Actually, I remember my first pair being knock offs and I wrote vans on the blank label!  I know Vans is a major international brand,  but this video really captures their brand and makes it personal. I want to love their brand and I hope its legit. If anything, its a good lesson in company branding. I hope to carry that spirit of great craftsmanship and people first into my own work.

 I find a lot of inspiration in video. This one is  especially amazing. The time it must have taken to create...I need to learn to be patient with my work.
